Having recently undergone an entire makeover this mid terraced cottage provides a relaxing holiday base for those wishing to take a laid-back seaside holiday. You can find the sea's influence everywhere, in the scenery, the history and in the local restaurants serving freshly caught fish, crab and lobster. There are quaint villages to explore, like tiny St Abbs, lying below the spectacular cliffs of St Abbs Head, and Coldingham, with its sandy bay and charming beach huts. Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries Eyemouth harbour provided safe landing for fishermen whilst the rugged coastline was a haunt for smugglers evading the duty on both luxury and everyday items like salt, coal, tea and candles. Edinburgh is 45 miles. Bamburgh 20 minutes drive. Fishing, diving, walking, mountain biking and golf available locally.
