AIDAN COTTAGE near Chatton/Belford
One of three charming stone built cottages situated in a peaceful location with unrestricted views to the Kyloe Hills, beyond which lie the Heritage coast.
Aidan Cottage was fully renovated and extended in 2008 to provide luxurious holiday accommodation. Its proximity to our cottages Bede and Cuthbert next door allows for groups of up to 12 people (4 per cottage) to holiday together and share the communal grounds as well as having the benefit of the private garden attached to each cottage.
Aidan additionally has the benefit of a large decked area, ideal for sunbathing and barbecues.
The deck leads through French doors into a large, bright and airy lounge with open fire. Wide screen TV, Sofa, chair and bean bags make this a comfortable room to relax in.
The fully fitted modern kitchen includes oven and hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave together with a full supply of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans and cooking utensils. With its window seat, solid oak dining table and chairs, and a wood burning stove this is a cosy spot for a home-cooked meal or a cuppa and a chat, if you don't feel like cooking or doing the laundry!
The double and twin bedrooms both have comfortable modern oak beds complemented by antique oak furniture.
The bathroom provides bath shower and basin suite, an electric shaver point, and a fantastic walk in shower enclosure with power shower and seat.
All rooms have panoramic views and the cottage has real oak flooring throughout. |
